| Article One: |
| This organization shall be called "Funny Business Clowns" and will follow "The Clown Code of Ethics" for Clowns of America International. |
| Article Two: |
| The purpose of Funny Business Clowns is to promote the quality of clowning, to share ideas and fellowship with one another. |
| Article Three: |
| The Funny Business calendar year runs from June 1st through May 31st. Membership dues will be $18.00 per year per person 16 years of age and older with no family discounts. Seniors 65 or older will be $10.00. Members will receive free admission to all meetings including lectures with the exception of the hiring of a high priced lecturer and a vote by the membership to charge admission for all in attendance to defray the cost. The regular charge for lecture nights for non-members will be $10.00 or more. Members in good standing may host a table at our annual Swap Meet for a charge of $5.00 per table. All minors (15 years old and under) are welcome to attend club meetings and events at no charge, but must have the adult member with them. |
| Article Four: |
| Members are asked to be active and support Funny Business Clowns by attending as many meetings and clown activities as possible. |
| Article Five: |
| The executive board consists of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Officers are elected for one year with a maximum of two consecutive years in one office, unless two- thirds of the voting members present, agree that an officer can run for longer than two years. |
| Article Six: |
| Elections will be held in May and new officers will preside at the first meeting in June. |
| Article Seven: |
| Should a vacancy occur in any office, The Board shall appoint someone to fill the position for the remainder of the term. |
| Article Eight: |

Duties

| Article Nine: |
| New members shall not have voting rights until they are beyond the probationary period of 60 days. |
| Article Ten: |
| Board members are required to attend a least 8 of the twelve meetings annually or the president may appoint another person to take over the duties of that board member. |
| Article Eleven: |
| No debts shall be incurred in the name of the club without approval by the members voting at a regular meeting. Other than normal operating expenses of the club, funds are only to be disbursed after the voting members approval at a regular meeting. |
| Article Twelve: |
| By-laws may be amended in the following manner: 1) Introduced in writing and read at a regular meeting. 2) Motioned and seconded by members and a vote taken. 3) Upon approval of members, the amendment will be adopted. |
| Article Thirteen: |
| In the advent that a member's actions are disruptive and show the club in a light that is inconsistent with "The Clown Code of Ethics" the club has the right to have a silent vote to revoke that person's membership. In the advent that this revocation of membership becomes necessary, no membership dues will be refunded. |
| Article Fourteen: |
| In the advent of the dissolution of "Funny Business Clowns" any monies remaining after all liabilities have been paid will be donated to non-profit organization(s) to be determined by the Board. |
